BOOKINGS:

Bookings for daycare & boarding can be made through our Kennel Booker software by clicking the "BOOK NOW" button in the top right hand corner of the page. Please submit booking requests no later than 9pm for the following day.

RATES: 

Boarding

(Day = 24 hours or less)

• 1 Dog = $45 per day

• 2nd Dog (same run) = $40 per day

• 3rd Dog (same run) = $35 per day

• Retreat bookings exceeding 30 days will receive a 10% discount. Half of your invoice must be paid upon drop-off.

Daycare:

​(Daycare rates are based on AM drop-off, PM pick-up on the same day)

CANCELLATION POLICY

Boarding: 50% of your total invoice will be due, if you cancel your booking within 24 hours of your scheduled check-in time.

INFORMATION:

Brushy Ridge Dog Retreat sits on a 7 acre,  fenced & gated parcel of land. Located off highway 22, 4km south of the town of Cochrane & 4km north of the Trans Canada Highway.

The facility itself is a 4,352 square foot building, fitted with 21 dog runs. Runs vary in size, ranging from our smallest at 3X12 feet to our largest at 6X12 feet. All runs have indoor/outdoor capability & are kept warm with an in-floor heating system through-out the entire facility. All outdoor runs are covered & provide shade along with protection from most of the elements.

We have two group play yards, totalling 12,000 square feet, giving your dog plenty of space to run & play.

WHAT TO BRING

• FOOD: We require that you supply your dog's regular everyday food (preferably in pre-portioned bags or in a hard container) clearly marked with your dogs name & feeding instructions on the container. Also, if your dog has a preferred treat, please feel free to bring along. If your dog runs out of food during their stay with us there will be a $25 charge, along with the cost of food added to your final invoice.

• ​​BEDS: There is no bed like your own bed, so bring along your dogs bed to ensure they get the best snooze possible.

• EXTRAS: A few of your dogs favourite toys, blankets, or anything that smells like home can give them comfort when they are in their individual runs. These personal items will not be shared.

• PROOF OF CURRENT VACCINATIONS:  We require all dogs to be vaccinated against Rabies, Bordetella, & DA2PP (distemper, adenovirus-2, parainfluenza, parvovirus) THESE ARE  MANDATORY. If no vaccinations have been provided, we will not accept your dog.

Your dog will receive... 

• Food (Provided by owner) based on directions given to us by you.

• 24 hour access to cold, clean drinking water

• Indoor/outdoor access between the hours of 7AM & 9PM

• 2 group play times, 1 in the morning & 1 in the afternoon. (Groups will be based on temperament, size & age).

• Outside of group play times, your dog will have private indoor/outdoor access in their own personal run. 

• Lots of love & attention

We board intact males and females.

If your female is experiencing a heat cycle at the time of drop off, we will not accept them. If she begins a cycle during her stay with us, there will be a $10 charge per day added to your bill.

Intact males will be given a fair chance to join the main play group, however it is not uncommon for us to have to separate intact males and have them play separate.

 

HOLIDAY HOURS/CLOSURES 

• ​Our office will be closed to humans for check-ins & Check-outs, December 24th, 25th, & 26th as well as January 1st.

 

We reserve the right to refuse any dog.
